41st National Children Haiku (Japanese Poetry) Writing Competition 2023
Our senior G12 student participated in the 41st National Children Haiku (Japanese Poetry) Writing Competition and won the first place.
Pingtung County Word Game Challenge 2023
Four of our G5 and G6 students represented the school to participate into the 112th School Year Pingtung County Word Game Challenge and took 2nd Place in Group B – Elementary School Catagory. Thanks to the teachers for their guidance and the students’ hard work.
Pingtung County Elementary School English Song Presentation 2023
Our G3 students participated in the 112th School Year Pingtung County Elementary School English Song Presentation and won the second place in Elementary School Group A Catagory.
16th World Yumeichi Character Competition 2023
Our Elementary and High Schools participated in the 16th World Yumeichi Character Competition hosted by Japan and won the Yumeichi Character Award (School Group Award). Many students received awards respectively. A G5 student received a special award (OITA GODO News Company Award). Two received gold awards, six received silver awards, two received bronze awards, and six others were selected. The three teachers also won gold medals, silver medals and selected awards respectively.
National Senior High School Reading Reflection Writing Competition 2023
Our Grade 12 students participated in the National Senior High School Reading Reflection Writing Competition and won first place. Achieving such outstanding results in a national competition is truly remarkable.
Compassionate Gesture to assist Cancer Patients
Indeed, a small bundle of black hair possesses great warmth. Besides enhancing their personal appeal, the long, glossy black hair of female high school students can serve as a compassionate gesture to assist cancer patients in rebuilding their lives. The kindness of these students is truly remarkable!
National Vocational High School Special Topic Competition 2023
Kudos to the three Grade 11 students for their participation in the 2023 National Vocational High School Special Topic Competition! Their outstanding performance resulted in winning second place in the Commercial Marketing Group (1) category. Well done on this impressive achievement!
Children’s Rights Painting Competition 2023
Congratulations to our Grade 3 students! Two of them achieved First Place, and two others received Honorable Mentions in the middle-grade category at the County Convention – Children’s Rights Painting Competition.
Tainan Mayor’s Cup Roller Skating Championship 2023
Our G6 student achieved two remarkable feats in the “112 Tainan Mayor’s Cup Roller Skating Championship.” He secured second place in the elementary school Senior Group A 200+D meter time trial and clinched first place in the elementary school Boys’ Freshman Group 800-meter relay. Congratulations to him on his outstanding accomplishments!

Two compositions by our Grade 5 students, titled “Childhood Sweethearts” and “Friendly Class,” were published in the Mandarin Daily News! They were featured on October 23rd and October 25th respectively.

Congratulations to Chong Hua Elementary School on achieving a Silver Certification in the Taiwan-US Eco-Campus Partnership Program. Special thanks to the dedicated G3 and G4 students for their hard work, and heartfelt gratitude to the teachers for their attentive guidance.
Pingtung County Chairman’s Cup Ice Skating Competition 2023
Absolutely impressive achievements! It’s wonderful to see …….our G6 student excelling in both sports and arts. Winning second place in the 600 meters at the Pingtung County Chairman’s Cup Ice Skating Competition and also securing 4th place in both the 200 meters and 800 meters at the 14th Aerobics Cup National Ice Skating Time Trial is no small feat. In addition, his painting received honourable mention in the Happiness Cup Painting Competition.

Congratulations to our G5 student for becoming a little author. His children’s poem were submitted to the Mandarin Daily News and were published in the newspaper on August 12, 2013.
19th Elite Maths Challenge Cup – International Mathematics Competition 2023
Congratulations! Our Elementary School student was selected to represent Taiwan in the 19th Elite Maths Challenge in Hong Kong and was proclaimed First Prize winner in the G4 group.
112th Pingtung County Language Competition 2023
Teachers and students of Chong Hua Elementary School participated in the 112th Pingtung County Language Competition. Teacher …. and Teacher ….came in second and third place respectively in Mandarin Recitation and Composition. Whilst in Mandarin Recitation Student Group, we were placed fifth place. OMC Olympia National Elementary and Secondary School Mathematics Competition 2023
Our elementary students participated in the OMC Olympia National Elementary and Secondary School Mathematics Competition and walked away with good results. Two G4 students each won a bronze medal in the fourth grade group.

Math Kangaroo Competition Taiwan EDM 2023
Our High School students participated in the 2023 Math Kangaroo Taiwan EDM of Kangourou sans Frontières (KSF), an independent association established in France and walked away with 2 Silver and 1 Bronze Awards in the Kadett Category.

111th School Year Obani Memorial Foundation – National Outlying Islands and Remote Area Elementary School Children’s Epidemic Prevention Measures Competition 2023
Congratulations to all G5 students of Chong Hua who participated in the competition. We scored 100 points in all three rounds of the competition, and the summary score of the tests ranked in the top 30% of Taiwan.

Jobs well done!
Cambridge International English Test 2023
Commendable results to share. 89% of our participating students passed the Starters test with 40% of them achieving full marks. The success of the 40% was attributed to their full marks in Speaking and Listening components.
In the Movers test, we recorded 100% passes. 85% of them had perfect score in Speaking and in Listening about 60%.
Pingtung County Language Competition, Neipu Preliminary Round 2023
Chong Hua Elementary School students proudly won 1st place and 2nd place in Mandarin Recitation and Composition respectively.
Two other students also won the forth place in English Recitation and Minnan Recitation.
Congratulations also to Teacher Jiang who was awarded 1st place in Mandarin Recitation.
Pingtung County Language Competition, Neipu Preliminary Round 2023
We are proud of our two High School students who received commendable awards in the 2023 Neipu Preliminary Round of the Pingtung County Language Competition.
They took 1st place in English Presentation and 3rd place in Minnan Recitation respectively.

Our team of G6 students participated in the 40th National Children Haiku (Japanese Poetry) Writing Competition and received several great awards! Two of our students won the special Oita Haiku Federation Chairman’s Award and also special Honour of Excellence.
In addition, the works of two other students received Honourable Mention.
Cool English – English Listening Championship 2023
Several of our G4 students participated in the Cool English – English Listening Championship organised by the Ministry of Education and the Department of English of the National Taiwan Normal University.

Pingtung County 111th Flowers and Fruits Paradise – Creative Horticulture Education Program Competition 2023
Chong Hua Elementary School teachers participated in the Pingtung County 111th Flowers and Fruit Paradise – Creative Horticulture Education Program Competition. Two of our teams won first and third honors in Group A Level respectively. Whilst another team won the excellent work award in Group B. Congratulations to all the winning teachers!

Our team of students won a Special Award in the Group B Elementary School Category at the 111th Pingtung County Word Game Challenge.

Our Junior High School Students participated in the 111th School Year, Ping Tung County Junior High School English Ballad Presentation. Their composed and melodious performance left a deep impression on the audience and all judges of the competition. They were honoured the “Excellence Award”.

The 19th International Mathematics Primary Contest, Taiwan 2022
Our Elementary School student won 2nd Place in the Grade 4 Category at the 19th IMC International Mathematics – Taiwan Preliminary Contest. He qualifies for participation in the semi-finals.
15th Global Dream Word Competition , 2022
55 schools in Taiwan with a total of 2,496 participants participated. Participants from Taiwan made up 44% of the total global participants. Among all the entries, Chong Hua Elementary Students were proclaimed winner for Japanese Writing in the “School Group Award”. In addition, three of our students won the “Special Award” (Grand Prize); and ten other students won the “Golden, Silver and Bronze Award” and the “Judges Award” respectively. As “School Group Award” winner , we will be sending a representative together with our “Special Award” (Grand Prize) winners to attend the Award Ceremony in Japan.
Pingtung County and Public Education Joint Sports Day 2022
Congratulations to our three Junior High School students who came in 2nd place in the Boys French Roll Ball Team Event.
15th National Excellence Cup Competition organised by Kangxuan Culture and Education 2022
Our students won many awards in the national competition. They won the Gold and Bronze Medals for Mathematics Excellence, two Bronze Medals in the Reading Competition, and eleven other Outstanding Awards in Mathematics and Reading.
The 5th Japanese Poetry Writing Competition 2022
After learning Japanese for one year, our Elementary School students were encouraged to participate in a Japanese poetry writing competition. In the international section, three of our entries stood out, in which a student won Excellence Award.
ECO-Campus, USA – Taiwan 2022
Chong Hua Elementary School is one of 11 national high schools and elementary schools in Pingtung County awarded a Bronze Certification in the ECO-Campus, USA -Taiwan.

We are proud of our Elementary School students who participated in the HAIKU Japanese Poetry Competition. There were 18,153 entries including 19 entries from Chong Hua Bilingual School. The works of our two G5 students stood out. They won 1st Place and an Honourable Mention respectively.

Our Senior High School students put up an outstanding performance in the Drone Competition of the Liudui 300-year Activities Series. They came first and third place respectively.
